Vietnam Youth Orchestra
From 2022 to the present, I served as First Violinist with the Vietnam Youth Symphony Orchestra (VYO), Vietnam’s first multi‑national youth orchestra founded by the Vietnam Youth Music Institute in cooperation with the Vietnam National Symphony Orchestra
Comprising some 79 members aged 12–22 from varied nationalities and backgrounds, VYO’s mission is to foster a vibrant and inclusive environment where young musicians discover the lifelong joy of orchestral performance.

Highlights
Classical music shouldn't be confined to formal stages—that's something I came to understand deeply as a member of the first violin section in the Vietnam Youth Symphony Orchestra. From weekly rehearsals to concerts in parks, cultural centers, and opera houses, I was part of an ensemble that brought orchestral music into everyday spaces. We didn’t just perform—we connected with audiences through storytelling, interaction, and shared experience.

Being in VYO showed me how music can thrive when it’s part of a community. It wasn’t only about playing well—it was about contributing to something larger, making classical music more open, approachable, and alive for people beyond the concert hall.
